Mr. Bean, with all of its branches, is now halal certified. On June 9, this feat was officially accomplished. As a result, Mr. Bean has made it to the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore’s (MUIS) list of eateries. The list is now available for everyone to see, and you can easily have a look at it too by visiting MUIS’s official website.

With its delicious taste and health benefits, it’s no wonder that Mr. Bean is one of Singapore’s favourite food brands!

Mr. Bean is a home-grown brand that started out as a humble soy milk stall in a local hawker centre. Today, it has grown to become one of the most popular foods and beverage brands in Singapore, with over 60 outlets island-wide.

Mr. Bean’s products are made from high-quality ingredients and are free from preservatives and trans fats. Their signature item is soy milk, which comes in three flavors-original, chocolate, and green tea. Mr. Bean also offers a wide range of other products, such as soybean curd, soya pudding, rice bowls, and more.

History of Mr. Bean S’pore halal certification

In 2018, Mr. Bean was embroiled in a social media storm over halal certification Singapore, particularly when the bak kwa eggwich was unveiled.

On Facebook, a user took this unveiling and posted it on their account with ‘No halal’ signs. In the follow-up to this post, Facebook saw quite a stir about Mr. Bean.

Some people have stated that they will no longer use Mr. Bean. While others continued to support Mr. Bean, basing their patronizing on the fact that Mr. Bean wasn’t halal certified back then and Me Bean had also clarified that they don’t use pork or lard ingredients in their products.

How did Mr. Bean get its halal certification again?

This is a significant move for the company, as it opens up a whole new market for them in the Muslim-majority country.

The certification was bestowed by the Singapore Islamic Religious Council (MUIS), and it is valid for three years.

Mr. Bean’s CEO, Mr. Lim, said that the company had been working towards this goal for some time now, and they were very proud to have finally achieved it.

He added that halal certification is important not only for Muslims but also for people of other religions who may have concerns about consuming non-halal products.

This is definitely a positive step forward for Mr. Bean, and we hope to see more brands following suit in the near future.

Individual use the card to maintain their relationship with the people they care about. However, for some businesses, they use cards as a medium to keep in touch with their customers and of course for other business purposes.  

To get the cards, there are two alternatives that you can choose for that! The first one is you can go to a stationary store or now there are lots of online websites that will help you get beautiful greeting cards. Then the second one, you can make the card and personalized it. So, which option would you like to choose? The first one or the second one? Or maybe you need to think more about whether to buy it or make it? If that’s what you want to do, maybe a few of the points below will help you make your decision!  

1. Individual or Business 

As mentioned earlier, greeting cards are used by individuals and businesses/organizations. So, which one are you? Are you going to use the card for individual use or business purposes?  

Both individuals and businesses only send the cards when it comes to certain days or special occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, or maybe Thanksgiving. So, they don’t usually send the card daily. For individual use, they might just send a few greeting cards even on special days. So, they don’t really need lots of cards.
